Orbitworks unveils Altair, the UAE's first homegrown, AI enabled satellite constellation

Orbitworks unveiled Altair, described as the UAE's first homegrown, AI enabled satellite constellation. Altair is an Earth observation constellation built in Abu Dhabi.

Each satellite carries complementary sensors and processes data onboard, so that analysis ready answers can reach the ground sooner than a single sensor fleet would allow.

Altair is being assembled now, with first launches planned for 2026. It anchors the company's offer to sovereign, civil and commercial customers.
